Health and Safety Matters
At Bright Civil Engineering we believe that an excellent company is by definition a safe company. Since we are committed to excellence throughout the company, it follows that minimizing risks to people, plant and products is fundamental to all other company objectives.
When it comes to Health & Safety, Bright Civil Engineering proactively seeks to achieve and maintain the highest standards. We do not pursue this aim simply to achieve compliance with current legislation but because it is in our best interests. We see no conflict between safety and commercial considerations; profit and safety are not in competition.
On the contrary, safety is good business.
Environment Matters
The company operates an Environmental Policy which defines our responsibilities and sets out procedures for carrying out our work without adverse environmental impact.
Training & Certifications
We believe that training is the basis of Health and Safety. We operate a CITB training Plan which enables us to identify requirements at an early stage and to implement training accordingly.
We currently have staff trained and certified with the following qualifications:
SMTS – Supervisors and Site Management
CSCS – Site Staff
CPCS – Plant Operators

Confined Spaces
NRASWA Street Works
CCNSG Passport to Safety
